I’m currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Dakota. Broadly, I am interested in microbiology and microbial ecology. My current research project on Wolbachia allows me to pursue those areas as I aim to discover how this genus of bacteria manipulates its host. Additionally I am interested in aquatic ecosystems and trophic cascades, particularly on how the microbiome may change these cascades.
